We have all heard the term “Getting Your Foot In the Door”. It can be a good strategy for eventually obtaining your desired position. As we know many companies hire within and often don’t advertise positions. Inside candidates always have a good track and getting a position within the company where they work. Sometimes you simply have to get into (hired) by a company. This could mean taking an entry level position in an area which isn’t your first choice. Many people won’t do this, but others will and may eventually end up with the job that they want. It is a good strategy when you are really interested in a company and want to be part of it.
